Native to a small mountainous area in northern Madagascar, Windsor Castle peak, this is one of the most appealing species. Although fairly slow growing, it’s among the easiest to cultivate but the greatest reward is the annual display of spectacular red flowers which last from April - August.

To illustrate just how appealing this has become, a few years ago we ran a computer check to see which species of Pachypodium we had sold the most of over 16 years of computer records and by far, baronii v windsorii topped the list. What really surprised us was not only was it the top selling Pachypodium but the top selling plant period!
