species, this has become an anchor plant in many collections and has always been prized by
collectors. A moderate grower, an impressive specimen with a big caudex can be made fast. Even small 2 year old plants will flower but when you get it to about 5 years or more, the flowers can exceed 3" in diameter! Requiring plenty of water year round, this is of easy culture and presents little difficulty. This is a great species in every way. |
