Introduced to cultivation by us in 1988, this is the most prolific flowering Pachypodium we know of. Even small 2-3 year old plants will have 8-10 flowers per cluster. A mature specimen can easily have over 100 flowers open at a time!

This is quite distinct from the type rosulatum and remains uncommon in collections owing to the difficulty in producing seed. It's a moderate grower and is fairly easy to cultivate.
