Customer Service

At Highland, we care about you and our plants. If you have ever purchased mail order plants before, much of the information presented here will be very meaningful. If you are new to plant collecting, it can make the difference between a joyous experience and a big disappointment.

You Will Not Be Disappointed
We know what it’s like to eagerly anticipate the arrival of choice new plants for the collection only to unpack a box of pathetic subjects that really don’t look a thing like what you expected. What a let down!

When you unpack an order from us, you get your money’s worth. We appreciate your business and want to keep it.

Your Plants Will Be Super Quality
Everything else is meaningless if you receive poor quality plants. What difference does it make if plants are cheap? Poorly grown, etiolated, unhealthy succulents usually fail meaning a complete loss to you.

Highland is totally devoted to growing succulents with our facilities optimized for this one single purpose. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we do know what a nice plant is. Our rule is that we wouldn’t send you any plant we would not want as our own.

We Deliver What You Pay Us For
Rare slow growing succulents can be difficult to establish and this is the nursery’s job not yours. Quite often this makes the difference between a good plant and a dead one. Ours are shipped potted, fully established, and ready to grow. It really makes a huge difference!

We Treat You Right Every Time
Rare plants are expensive and it’s important to know the nursery’s terms. For example: who owns the plants while they are in transit and if they are damaged, who pays? Usually one hears: “our responsibility ends when we give your order to the carrier”. Not at Highland!

We assume complete responsibility for your order and guarantee safe arrival year round. You will never find yourself on the phone tracking down a lost package.

Look all too familiar? Your order from Highland won’t be delivered like this. What a pity the nursery couldn’t have shipped these plants with their roots intact. Too bad for you and the plants! Think about it after you finish all the work of potting them up. Will they all make it?
